New Databases!
We have now increased and expanded our database resources by moving from Thompson Gale to Ebsco. By moving to Ebsco, VIVA has helped us increase our online holdings in all of the College's disciplines. New available databases include Academic Source Complete, American History and Life, Greenfile (a natural sciences environmental database), Business Source Premiere, Religion & Philosophy Collection and many more. Feel free to explore the newly available databases by clicking Ebsco on the left hand side of the webpage.
Remember, if you have any questions regarding these changes please contact any of the librarians. The library hopes to have faculty training sessions if there is want or need.

First published in July 1850, shorlty after Wordsworth's death, The Prelude is the great Romantic poem of human consciousness. It takes as its theme 'the growth of a poet's mind,' leading the reader back to Wordsworth's formative moments of childhood and youth, and detailing his experiences as a radical undergraduate in France at the time of the Revolution. The Prelude has become one of the finest examples of poetic autobiography ever written; a fascinating examination of hte self that also presents a comprehensive view of the poet's own creative vision.
