Reserve materials are located behind the Circulation Desk. The "Reserve Desk" section of the Library's catalog contain's a complete list of the Reserve Material that can be found by instructor, class name and course number. There are 2-hour, 1-day, 3-day and 7-day reserves.
Faculty members need to fill out the Reserve Request Form and give it and the Reserve material to the Library Assistant at the Circulation Desk. Library material, personal copies or photocopies may be placed on reserve. Please allow 3 days for processing.
Placing material on reserve for more than one semester is a violation of copyright law unless the material is purchased through a Document Delivery Service which pays the copyright fee. Placing a workbook, which is consumable material, on Reserve in the library to be copied by students, is a violation of copyright law.
Faculty members are responsible for ensuring that the material meets the standards of "Fair Use" and compliance with the Teach Act. Photocopied material should include a copyright notice on the first page.
